JDS Steel Fabrication is a locally owned and operated fabrication business proudly servicing the Hawkesbury, Greater Sydney and surrounding areas of NSW.

Founded in 2022 by qualified boilermaker Daniel Said, JDS Steel Fabrication is built on close to a decade of hands-on industry experience. Daniel’s passion for the trade, attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship have been the foundation of the business from the beginning and continue to drive the standard of work produced today.

From structural steelwork and architectural fabrication through to complex custom projects, JDS Steel Fabrication has been built around the ability to take on a broad range of work. We enjoy projects that present a challenge and require practical problem-solving, accuracy and a high standard of fabrication.

Qualified Welding & Fabrication

Our capabilities include qualified structural welding carried out in accordance with AS/NZS 1554.1, supporting projects where welding quality, consistency and compliance are critical.

Working across mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, we offer MIG and TIG welding capabilities along with pulse MIG welding for aluminium. This allows us to undertake everything from structural fabrication through to detailed architectural and custom metalwork.

As JDS Steel Fabrication continues to grow, we are committed to continually developing our skills, expanding our qualifications and investing in our capabilities to take on increasingly specialised and challenging projects.

Workshop Capabilities

Our workshop combines traditional fabrication skills with modern equipment and CAD-based manufacturing. Capabilities include CNC plasma cutting, CNC folding, CAD design and drafting, MIG and TIG welding, pulse MIG welding, cutting, forming and general fabrication.

Having these capabilities allows us to control more of the fabrication process and turn drawings, engineering details and customer concepts into accurately manufactured components and completed projects.

Our work includes structural steelwork, architectural steelwork, staircases and spiral staircases, sheds and awnings, house steelwork, gates, custom toolboxes, signage and specialised one-off fabrication.

Whether it’s a complex staircase, structural steel package, architectural feature or a completely custom project, we’re prepared to work through the details and find a practical way to manufacture it.

We work alongside builders, engineers, architects, drafting teams, suppliers and other trades to help take projects from drawings and concepts through to completed fabrication.
